The Relationship between Academic Stress and Suicidal Ideation among Middle-school Students: The Moderated Mediating Effects of Entrapment and Emotional Support from Peers

This study examined the moderated mediating impact of entrapment and emotional support from peers in relationship between academic stress suicidal ideation among middle-school students. The participants consisted 214 students first to third grades four middle schools located Seoul, Gyeong-gi, Chun-cheon, Jeonnam. data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson’s correlation coefficients, Process Macro Model versions 4, 1, 14. results this as follows. First, did not directly influence ideation; however, mediated ideation. Second, effect aforementioned relationship. means that if perceived peers, then had a smaller on through entrapment.
